Please note that prices are indicative only. Matted dogs, difficult to handle dogs, special request style cuts, etc may be charged extra according to the time taken to complete the groom.
Severe matting can be painful for your dog and can eventually lead to real health problems and if we see them we recommend that you remove them*.
Often though, the only humane way to act is to shave the coat and start again.
The health and well-being of your dog is the most important thing to us. The correct care of the coat at home as well as regular grooming will avoid these problems in future.

That’s fine, the dogs do not have to be loose with the other dogs. We can keep your dog totally separate if need be.
This is probably true, however once the pet owner leaves, most dogs usually settle down and enjoy their stay.
Most grooms are finished within 2 or 3 hours, however there are many variables than can have an impact on the time your dog is at the salon. We endeavour to get your pet back to you as soon as we can, but if it takes a bit longer there is no need for concern.
Unfortunately, sometimes we have no option than to clip your dog shorter than you may have liked. If your dog is matted, usually the only humane thing to do is to clip shorter than the mats.
Most matting is caused accidentally by the owner’s best, but misguided, intentions. Every time your dog gets wet by washing, swimming or just playing in the rain, and is left to air dry, the curls get smaller and tighter, eventually leading to matting.
We are more than happy to offer solutions and to show you correct brushing and combing techniques.
